Things to remember when investing in art

Posted in: Art Investment

Buying art is not risk free. In fact, investment in art work isĀ  speculative. It is often very hard to analysis how an art work will fare in monetary terms.

Even with art market research, it is hard to forecast how the price of an art work will perform. Valuation of an art work is nothing more than just a value. It depends all on the value that the art work can receive upon its sales.

So, if you plan to invest in art, do not spend more than you can afford. Remember that in the art market, no one will ever pay the same price again for an art work!
